Condition of Warranty Registration

Conditions of Online Warranty Registration ("Conditions"):

  1. Upon using this webpage and the online warranty registration provided under this webpage, you have acknowledged and agreed to the Standard Terms and Conditions for Use of Website.
  2. In order to complete the online warranty registration, you must fill in all necessary information as requested by this website.
  3. When warranty service is required, you may be requested to present the following proof of purchase or delivery in person: (i) hard or soft copy of the registration confirmation email received upon the completion and submission of the warranty registration form and (ii) the original purchase receipt of the product, dated and stamped or duly signed by the authorised dealer or supplier, or delivery note of the product, dated
  4. In case of any dispute in relation to this warranty service and the online warranty registration, the decision of GPScanID Limited shall be final and conclusive.
  5. This Conditions are subject to change and revisions from time to time without prior notice. Please check periodically for the updated version before use of this website.

Condition of warranty for 12-Months

  1. The guarantee becomes effective at the date of purchase (or the date of delivery if it is later). You may be requested to present the original proof of purchase / delivery, before any work is carried out. Without this proof, any work carried out will be chargeable. Please keep your original receipts and delivery notes.
  2. All work will be carried out by GPScanID Limited or its authorised agents.
  3. Any parts which has been replaced shall become the property of GPScanID Limited.
  4. The repair or replacement of your reader under guarantee will not extend the period of guarantee.
  5. The guarantee provides benefits which are additional to and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

What is covered

  1. The repair or replacement of your GPScanID reader (at GPScanIDʼs discretion) if it is found to be defective due to faulty materials, workmanship or function within 12 months of purchase or delivery (if any part is no longer available or out of manufacture GPScanID Limited will replace it with a functional replacement part).
  2. This guarantee will only be valid if the appliance is used in the country in which it was sold.

What is not covered

  1. Normal wear and tear.
  2. Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use or care, misuse, neglect, careless operation or handling of the reader which is not in accordance with the GPScanID Reader's User Manual.
  3. Use of the reader for any purposes other than that specified by the GPScanID Reader's User Manual.
  4. Use of parts not specified or installed in accordance with the GPScanID Reader's User Manual.
  5. Use of parts and accessories which are not genuine GPScanID components.
  6. Repairs or alterations carried out by parties other than GPScanID or its authorized agents.
  7. Reduction in battery discharge time due to battery age or use.
